Emailing your list

Your automations look after individual leads. When you want to send the same message to lots of people at once — a new class, a holiday timetable, a members’ event, a monthly newsletter — use an email campaign or a bulk text.

Start by deciding exactly who should get it. The tidiest way is a smart list or a tag, such as all members, all prospects, or everyone tagged interested-in-kids-classes. See Contacts and Tags.

  1. Go to Marketing → Emails and create a new campaign.
  2. Start from a template or build a new email.
  3. Choose your recipients — a smart list or tag.
  4. Send yourself a test and check it on your phone.
  5. Send now, or schedule it for later.

Select the contacts in Contacts (or open a smart list), then use the bulk action to send an SMS.

Before you send: keep it short, say who it’s from, and send during business hours. Each text costs a small amount, so a message to a few thousand contacts adds up.
